Abrosaa is India’s first startup dedicated to researching and adding value to India’s underutilized fruits and superfoods. Many of these superfoods have significant global potential, yet their processing and importance have often been overlooked in India. One such important superfruit is the Indian Super Berry, known as the Indian Ber or Jujube in English. Abrosaa is on a mission to bring back the forgotten glory of the Indian Jujube, Our journey began with a dream—to reintroduce this superfood, revered for centuries, to the world. We craft the finest jujube products, ranging from delectable ber-infused chocolates to nutritious ber masala chatkara and much more. Abrosaa has not only developed value-added products from Ber but has also worked on Ber plantation projects in collaboration with Indian horticulture authorities. To date, Abrosaa has successfully planted over 3000 Ber trees on barren and arid lands in Bundelkhand and Rajasthan, transforming these landscapes into thriving orchards. This initiative not only revitalizes the land but also provides a sustainable livelihood for local farmers and their families.

Our Founder
Namaste! I’m Shivani Bundela—a Bundelkhand girl turned food-tech entrepreneur, Growing up in Jhansi, I watched our native superfruits—Ber, Jamun, Karonda, Wood Apple, Mulberry—fade from lunch boxes and market shelves, and I couldn’t let that story end there. Armed with a Food Technology degree and a stubborn love for R&D, I founded Abrosaa to breathe new life into these power-packed fruits, crafting clean, delicious products that fit modern lifestyles while honoring farmers’ wisdom. Every Ber roll we dry, every jar we pack, is my promise to you: bold Indian flavors, transparent sourcing, and a social impact that’s already earned nods from the Smart City Jhansi team, Hon’ble Horticulture Minister Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh, former Governor Anandiben Patel, and countless local heroes.
